Dr. Aucoin holds a doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision. She is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and a licensed clinical addictions specialist in the state of North Carolina. Dr. Aucoin earned a Master Addictions Certification and is a National Certified Counselor. She worked in both private and public non-profit agencies and is dedicated to both researching and serving the needs of practitioners and family members related to living with mental health issues specializing in addiction. She has been invited as a guest lecturer at university and community organizations.
