Violeta Kadieva, Ph. D., LMFT-S, AAMFT Approved Supervisor is originally from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She received her doctoral degree from Texas Tech University. She has worked as a marriage and family therapist for 13 years and supervisor for 8 years. She is currently an Associate Professor at Texas Wesleyan University. She has published articles at the American Journal of Family Therapy, and presented workshops and posters on the topic of supervision dynamics at numerous conferences, including WAMFT, AAMFT, APA, TAMFT and International Family Therapy World Conference. Her most recent article at the American Journal of Family Therapy titled, Finding the Supervision Key of Therapist Progress was published in Dec.2022.
Zamzam (Zam) Dini is a doctoral candidate in the Couple and Family Therapy Program in the Department of Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota. Zam’s clinical work focuses on treating chronic PTSD and complex trauma. She is working on becoming a trainer in Narrative Exposure Therapy, an evidence-based intervention used to treat post-traumatic stress. Zam is passionate about increasing the representation of providers in the field of MFT and growing the number of MFTs providing culturally-appropriate clinical work. Zam is an AAMFT-approved supervisor-candidate and received her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
